Privacy

This page describes current practice and is updated as the product develops.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what information AiViSi processes when you use the service, and why. AiViSi is a business tool: it analyses information about tourism businesses, not information about travellers.

Information you give us

When you create an account we store your name, email address and a securely hashed password. When you add a business we store the details you enter: business name, website address, city, country, category and — if you choose to provide them — address, phone number and description.

Information we analyse

AiViSi analyses the business information you provide and publicly accessible information from your website. Additional data sources may be used as the product develops; where a source is not connected yet, the application shows that status openly rather than presenting an estimated result.

AiViSi is being built for the Swedish market with Visit Sweden's National API (NAPI) as an intended core data source. That integration is not connected in the current version, and no NAPI data is being processed today.

Product analytics

We record a small number of internal product events — for example that a check was started or an analysis was requested — so we can understand which parts of the product work. These events are stored in our own database. We do not use third-party advertising trackers and we do not build cross-site profiles.

Cookies

AiViSi sets a session cookie when you log in. It exists to keep you signed in and cannot be disabled while you use an account.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and business data for as long as your account exists. If you want your data removed, contact us and we will delete it.
